| G.S. Dalrymple who operated the small insurance
agency from his residence in Ayr, Ontario, established Dalrymple
Insurance in 1931. The business grew to the point where expansion
was necessary and a new office was built in the downtown area
of the village where our office is still located today.
In 1968 John S. Brown (Jack) became one of the shareholders
of the corporation and as other shareholders retired there
were changes in ownership. The company is now a family operation
whose principle shareholders are David Chapman, Larry Brown,
Dale Benson and Brian Brown. All shareholders are registered
insurance brokers with an active role in the company operations.
In 1998 the purchase of Burns Insurance Service Limited
was completed and we established an office in Paris, Ontario.
Dalrymple Insurance and Burns Insurance have grown within
their communities by relying on referral business from our
many satisfied clients. The personal and individualized commitment
that is given to each client results in sound and cost effective
insurance for our clients.
We specialize in personal lines insurance and commercial
insurance packages, specifically designed to meet the individual
needs of our clients. We respect the business relationship
we have with our companies and will submit quality business
to provide stability for the companies we represent and ultimately
benefit our clients.
We are members of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario
and are licensed and regulated by the Registered Insurance
